WonderSwan Color Rechargeable Battery

This is probably one of my most complex designs! In 1999, Bandai created a competitor to Nintendo’s Gameboy Advance console. It was called the WonderSwan. While it didn’t find the same audience that the Gameboy Advance did, it did find a dedicated fanbase.
During the 2020 pandemic retro gaming boomed and a backlit screen for the WonderSwam became available. I took this queue to create my own rechargeable battery(and charger!) for the system. There were other previously made official batteries, but at that point they were hard to find and even if you could find them, the batteries would likely hold no charge.
So this is my whole own design. I spent countless hours on design and iteration, but I’m pretty happy with the results! The curves match the original WonderSwan perfectly and having flat against the body makes the whole console much more sleek compared to the original AA battery holder.
*Please note that this listing is just for the battery. The charging unit can be purchased separately, or as part of a bundle.
**Please note that all 3D printed parts may have a slightly different color than what is seen in photos. We do our best to keep everything consistent, but color variation is inherent to 3D printed parts.
